Hi.

I am wondering if it is possible to use Pitch N Time to reset the BPM of a track back to original pitch and also allow a time value to this?

Thanks.

Pitch N Time is a Protools plugin and will not work with Scratch Live.

I read this "Pitch ’n Time is now available in three different versions, Pro, LE and FE" and thought this was Serato Scratch Live Pro.

Is it possible in Serato Scratch Live to reset the pitch if it is off 0 pitch at certain speeds?

If your using INT mode you can hold down the cntrl key and press on the internal pitch slider to reset it back to 0.
If your using cd players or turntables you would move the pitch on the cd player or turntable.

sory i realised this is the Pitch N Time forum i already had this posted in the Scratch Live forum before this thread and then posted here.

got a bit confused.

does serato offer a function to reset the pitch back to 0 pitch if it is off 0 pitch at different speeds? i mean a time factor where you can change the reset speed?

I'm not sure I follow you?

Can you elaborate?

well perhaps first i should ask does Serato Scratch Live offer any type of pitch reset where it is possible to reset at different speeds?

i mean so i can reset the pitch of a deck back to 0 pitch at a certain rate? and also change this rate of speed?

I'm still confused as to what your wanting to do.

The pitch in SSL is determined by either an external control (TT, or cd decks) or by the internal pitch slider in SSL (when using INT mode).
The only thing you can do within SSL in regards to resetting the pitch is to either reset it to 0 on your control source or hold down ctrl and click on the internal pitch slider (when using INT mode).
Other than that, there are no other pitch options.

ok i was seeing if it was possible to use midi in some way to reset the pitch at different speeds for example just using a button rather than manualy.

Ya.. as I said.. the only thing you could do to reset the pitch is the cntrl + click command.
You can midi map cntrl + click command to a controller if you want.
You would do this by following the same midi mapping directions only hold the cntrl key down when you click on the internal pitch slider.
