How to use smart crates without a My Music folder?

My private laptop is dead so I have used the one from my company but our "Documents & Settings" home (and also the "My Music" folder) are pointed to a network drive in the company.

When I start Serato in the club I didn't have any smart crate - which are stored in the My Music folder only - but there is no one.

I can create new smart crates during Serato is running - but they won't be stored anywhere (and no error messages!).

How can I load or use my prepared smart crates (also stored in a folder on my external music hard drive) on the laptop from my company?

You can't. All smart crates need to be stored on the internal C drive.

Ok,

the only one solution until I have a new laptop - waiting for Windows 8 on a bigger tablet ;-) - I have to copy & paste the smart crate content into normal crates for djing.

I can remember I made a feature request to copy or convert all selected smart crates into normal crates. ;-)
