Hey DjAbsolute,

Are all your files analyzed?
If you let it scan all the way through does it still do it again next time you open it?

Let me know and i'm sure we can sort this issue.

Yeah you may have a a corrupt database, follow this link:

serato.com

Once you've done this, re-open Scratch Live, reanalyze your files, it should hopeful only do it again once.

Let me know how you go.

David Wood 10:12 PM - 16 February, 2012
Hey Djabsolute72,

O.k lets try a little test. Go into your music folder> Rename your _Serato_ folder to say _Serato_1. Re-open Scratch Live. At this point Scratch Live will re-create a new _Serato_ folder. Next we should drag some song files into the new fresh looking Scratch Live library in Scratch LIve. Scan Tags and then close and re-open. See if it still does it.

Let know how you go

Whats the next step?
Serato, Support
David Wood 10:44 PM - 16 February, 2012
o.k, don't worry about that. Serato is the new one. Serato 1 is your original one and backup is it's backup.

Lets go back into Serato program. Open up some song files and scan them. Then close program and re-open. Let me know if it re-scans new files again.
djabsolute72 10:51 PM - 16 February, 2012
what do you mean by open up some songs and scan them?
Serato, Support
David Wood 10:57 PM - 16 February, 2012
While in Scratch LIve go to button 'Files' click this. Then find your music folder using the file directory with that drop down. Pick a folder or some music Files from your Hard drive and drag them onto 'All' in crates menu on the left. They should be added to your new Serato Database (library).

Then close program. Re-open Scratch Live and see if the problem continues :)

Let me know

David Wood 3:13 AM - 20 February, 2012
Hey Absolute,

How long are we talking here? 20 seconds or like 5 minutes? Scanning Database is normal, how big is your library?
Are you running all your music off your internal hard drive or off an external?
