Are you wanting to use a 16% pitch range? Unfortunately you are limited to 8% with Serato DJ Intro sorry.

If you need to go further than +/-8% dj-madmax, that's usually a sign that those two tracks aren't going to fit very well together.

After all, people have mixed music with Technics turntables for 30 years, and they only have +/-8%.

Anything beyond that can be interesting wheh used as an effect, but as Intro is designed for beginners it's best to get used to good habits at the start and stick to 8% maximum.

I try not to go high/lower then 5, but that's just me........

I use CDJs and always set them to +/-6%.

SERATO DJ INTRO has no plans to open out the pitch range to 16% and up. It will remain as 8%.

It would be better if you will purchase a new controller. Don't use SERATO DJ INTRO anymore, use SERATO ITCH. It sounds like you already hone your skills as a DJ, then that is what would we suggest for you.

Hey DJ Madmax,

We have no plans for this, can't say if we ever will. Maybe ITCH is your next step up if you want to mix songs with such differing Beats per minute.

As i've said before this controller unfortunately is designed this way and will not probably changed sorry. The work arounds have been explained. Hope you can still enjoy your controller with this obvious limitation for you.

Dave has already explained to you that this won't be happening, so please accept this. Serato DJ Intro has a much more limited feature set than our other DJ products, thus why certain things are different. This will not be changed.

I'm sorry you're unhappy about this, but this isn't going to change. If you're looking for more features, you may wish to look into an ITCH controller.
