I make a crate with some specific songs for an event>then I close Itch>Next day Open Itch, do my event and at the end of the event I delete that crate> next time I open Itch the crate that I deleted is back on my library, this time the crate appears all the way on top of all my crates(library).

Hey Djpr1,

This seems pretty weird. Can you let me know if the crate is located on both your External and Internal drives? You can find the file in the Subcrates and Crates folders in the _Serato_ folder on both the root level of the external drive and in your Music folder on the internal drive.

Hey Sam,
They are only on my external drive ( crate and subcrate folder) that's where I go into and delete manually. That has been my only workaround.

Have you tried rebuilding your database v2 file? It may be that ITCH is pulling these crates back from the database. Can you try this:

Open ITCH
Delete the crates
Close ITCH
Open _Serato_ folder and rename database v2 file to database v2_old on each drive
Make sure that the crates are deleted in the Crates and Subcrates folders.
Now restart ITCH

Let me know if the crates come back at all or if making new crates and trying to delete them still doesn't work?

Correct me if I'm wrong but rebuilding my database will change my "date added" to that particular date? I use the this feature a lot and wouldn't want to lose my dates.

If this is correct I guess I'll keep deleting the crates manually from the folders unless you have another suggestion.

Yes sorry, if you follow this fix you will loose your date added information sorry.

Unfortunately the only other workaround is to manually delete these as I have mentioned.

Cheers,

Sam.
