I am a little disappointed but not surprised with dj intro. The level of functioning is pretty good ...
Some defects and suggestions I have put this program being a user of Scratch Live:
- Loops only from 1 to 8.
- Warn the end of track at 30 seconds.
- Lock the deck that is playing.
- Function AM to hide the names of the tracks.
- Option to disable crossfader.
- VU meter for the decks.
- Button to open the tabs of Samples and effects.
- Lights ON OFF in the buttons effects.
- More effects and options
- The option to choose the effects (shift rotating).
- More decks to sample (at least 8) and with more options.
- The lights jogweel to run and when the effects are active run more quickly.
- History of the tracks played.
- Clock in the program.
- Cover art on the decks.
- Option to 4 decks.
- MIDI assignable.
I personally did not mind to pay for a product like Serato itch to work on Pioneer Ergo.
best regards.

Most of those things aren't in Itch either, but if you wanted a more powerful Pioneer/Serato combination the DDJ-S1 has been available for a while. The Ergo is a toy for beginners.

I think its way over priced but just to 'clear' up some of the misconceptions about the DDJ-ERGO and it's construction ...
"Plastic" -- it is the SAME material used with the other DDJs - it is just not in the same FORM design and it is WHITE verse Black or Gunsmoke.
"Fader Caps & Knobs" -- Same as used with the other DDJs.
"JOGs" -- they are the SAME Jogs used with the other DDJ products - they just have translucent 'gun-smoke' outer rims so the LEDs can show through.
"SOUND" -- Same sound card as used with the other DDJ products - with Pioneer tested harmonic distortion better than the S1 and only 0.001% difference from the T1
