I would also love to know when the new Dj Intro version will be launched! Or is there a beta version already to run the DDJ Ergo?

Hey guys,
Serato DJ Intro for the DDJ-Ergo is not far off at all. I can't give you a date but keep checking the downloads page for a version update, it's almost there :)

Logan.. the Jogwheel are reversed.. i mean when i turn the jogwheels clockwise DJ intro reads it as counter clockwise

Yes, and in addition to that the jog wheels seem to be doing what they want! Any form of scratching or searching/ fixing cue points is impossible!

Yeah make sure you guys have the latest firmware installed from the Pioneer site ^

I installed the latest firmware for the Ergo, and also made sure I had the latest version of Intro. I still am having some play with the jogwheels though. There is just not any REAL control over the track. The whole reversed jog too.. is a bit aggravating. I'm sure you guys were anxious to get it out, just like everyone else was anxious to get it. So I'm sure there will be plenty of bugs to work out in the next how ever long.

i updated the firmware multiple times and re-downloaded the program. some people are having problems and some people aeren't
work with tech it seems that if you have 64-bit windows, its not working....can others confirm this
also if a serato admin could chime in on the jogwheels that would be great!!
thanks

Hey DJ801,
Sorry you are having problems. What exactly do the jog wheels do? When you press play does the waveform play backwards? Have you tried using it on another computer? same problem?
Not sure what this is yet but I'm sure we can figure it out.

the jogwheels seem to be going in reverse and they tend to go way to fast when you touch them giving you basically no control.
i haven't tried on other computers but asking around here on this forum and others that have the ergo it seems to be a windows 64 bit problem. For some reason it seems the firmware/software is not adjusting accordingly

I'm running Win 64 bit on 2 separate laptops and the jog wheels work fine on both of them. Maybe try uninstalling everything and start over from scratch? Make sure you have the following installed:
1. Pioneer Ergo driver: pioneer.jp
2. Pioneer Ergo firmware: pioneer.jp
3. Serato DJ Intro software
It's possible the firmware of the Ergo unit itself may not have been upgraded. Make sure it's on firmware version 1.10.
Hope that helps

Yeah it might be a good idea to do this :
- Connect the Ergo
- Click Start and type in 'Device Manager'
- Open it up and open 'Universal Serial Bus Controllers' and right-click and uninstall anything that says 'Pioneer Ergo' (or something similar)
- Now open the 'Sound Video and Game Controllers' tab and do the same.
- Disconnect the Ergo and run the Intro installer again, making sure to connect it again when prompted.
Does that fix it or does it still happen?
