You can make sample decks on the bottom and record segments of songs/sounds. you can loop or one shot the samples i believe and i would try to keep all my samples in a crate so you dont confuse them with your music.

There is a sample player which is great for this sort of thing, its called the SP-6.

If you are running ITCH 2.0.1, you should be able to go into the setup screen>plugins tab and tick "enable SP-6".

When your NS6 is connected, just above the crate directory, you will find a "SP-6" button which will open it up. Here you can drag and drop any samples or even full songs and play them.
