i have a 1024x600 need 1020x700 help how can i get serato to play on a 1024x600

Go into Control Panel > Display > Settings tab > Advanced, then in the Advanced submenu look on all the tabs (mine is under Monitor) for a box that says "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display." It should be checked. Uncheck it. Now you will be able to increase the resolution past 1024x600. However, some of the screen will be cut off and you have to move your mouse in that direction and the screen will follow. Now you'll be able to use start and use Scratch Live, but as I said, some (but not much) of the screen will be cut off.

Most netbooks aren't able to achieve that resolution. The shortcut Konix provided is one that I was aware of. This just might be a limitation of your computer.

Try the advice on these links though - www.howtogeek.com

You might try an older version like 1.9.2 linked here -->serato.com
