I used to be able to see the beatgrids with my demo of Ableton when in serato and edit them. I've since bought and upgraded to Ableton 8.2.6 and have registered it fully. I have Serato 8.3.0 on a 6 month old i7 Macbook Pro. I'm away from home and have no hardware and would like to edit beat grids while away. The option to enable isn't there. Will I need to storm into a local Guitar Center and ask them to plug into some hardware to enable it, and then have offline capabilities again??

Also, on your help page, the version of Ableton only goes up to 8.2.2 fyi.

Or does this have something to do with having a demo of live 8 installed and then installing a full version as well? And what do I do??????

Hey anthracite98,

Can you please follow these steps:

- Close Ableton Live and Scratch Live completely
- Navigate to this location:

- users/username/library/preferences/com.serato.scratchlive.plist

- Delete this file (make sure to keep a note of your Video-SL serial if you have this authorized before doing this)

Now run both Ableton Live and Scratch Live and you will be asked to authorize again. Follow the steps and you should be able to use The Bridge :)

Let me know if this doesn't work though.
