Question to Serato about new update

So if all the control records are faulty, this obviously means that EVERYONE should turn on drift correction right? My only concern is whether or not it is harder on your cpu with drift correction on.

Great job btw on the new update! I read on someone else's post that they were able to get their usb buffer down to 3 and it was stable on their powerbook, so I changed mine down to 5 (from 10) and it feels great. For anyone curious, i am using a 1.25 ghz powerbook on OSX 10.3.5.

I am using a 17" 1.33ghz Powerbook and I can play with no problems at 2ms in the Audio Buffer with this new update.

If it aint broke, dont fix it ;) If you dont experience any problems with pitch driftin, holding the pitch or beat matching then you shouldnt turn on drift correction.

Someone from the SSL team said that it will take 1/100th more CPU time if you turn on drift correction.

i was the one running 3 on my power book and was also analysing/playing unmapped track in a live situation---no dropout! when i saw that the track was mapping i was like "aw shit" but it ran flawlessly.
