Hi enoise,

Can you retrieve a Crash Log from when this happened ?
How to Retrieve a Crash Log Mac OS: sera.to

It sounds like it may have been a corrupt file, are you sure you have analyzed all your files and removed any corrupt files ?

Is it possible that your laptop overheated ? How far into a set were you ? How long had you been using video ?
You could download a widget called iStat nano which details Temp, CPU and a whole lot more here: www.islayer.com

If it is an overheating issue you could download and install SMC fan control to increase rpm and monitor the laptop fans.

Do you have Perian for Mac installed ? Download here: perian.org

Could you also give me full computer specs including video card in your set up.

Let me know these details and we'll take it from there.

tracking double time on this thread good to know am not the only one having this issue cause this has happened to two Fridays in a row

Tracking this one too. Had some similar issues.

I'm running a MacBook Pro (4,1), 2,4 ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB Ram, OSX10.5.8

1st issue:
Crash, music stopped instantly and software crashed 10 seconds later, during peak hour at a gig.
Setup was SL4, only one laptop, Technics 1210, no midi controllers, no external HD.

2nd issue:
Gui locked up while playing deck A, I was able to start the already cued song on Deck from the control vinyl, then switch to a backup ipod and restart the software.
Setup was Sixty Eight, only one laptop, Technics 1210, Dicers, no external HD.

SSL has always been very stable for me, so this is kind of worrying me.

Bridge enabled both times, but was not running Ableton. DJ-FX and SP6 enabled.
