whats the best way to re-organize mp3's...half of my mp3's artist, title, length etc. are not entered in the columns.

I guess the people didn't save it correctly.

What is scratch tools?

Scratch tools won't help with adding info to ID3 tags (the blank columns)

You need an ID3 tag editor program, media monkey does the job, but I prefer ID3-TagIT found here:www.id3-tagit.de


You can use this software to extract the "artist name & "song title" from the actual file name, and have it apply them to the corresponding fields in the ID3 tag found in the actual MP3, this in turn, will populate the fields in serato.

I still can't get the scratch tools to work. ?!!?
Can the renaming of the tag be done in WMP etc?

so id3 tag and media monkey are the only suggestions.

how come you cannot do it with WMP
