Nice. My mod was covering the NS6 box with black duct tape and using that for a case and a platform. Not a real solution but hey, free case!

The quotes for a custom case with wheels and handle were all coming back at $400 w/o shipping. This case was $119 otd, no tax/shipping.
I usually like the style of case where you take the lid off and play. Thats they way I did my turntable coffin. Saves all kinds of time. Plug in the power and XLR's, and play! I modded all my buddies' NS7 glide cases this way, with all the internal wiring and chassis mount XLR/power connections etc. This particular case, the top doesnt come off, but it is so simple to remove the NS6 and place it on top, pop in the power cord, usb cable, and plug in the Macbook magsafe, and boom, you're rolling. All from the case itself.
This way, Ill never forget the Macbook or the NS6 power supply, because they will always be in the case. However, all of these pieces can be removed without hassle if needed. Most of all, it cleans up the appearance while performing.
Ill snap some pics of the inside hopefully tonight. The final foam configuration is in process. Dont know what I want to do yet.

Love the mods Kenso. I think I'm going to implement some of them into mine. Just got the Odyssey Black Label NS6 case (FRNS6BL) for $180.00 and have to say I am incredibly impressed with it. Fit's better than any custom odyssey case I've ever dealt with, space below and behind for wires and hard drives and is on the lighter side at just over 20 lbs.

Thanks EZSMOOTH, I was impatient to wait for the non-glide. Also, the one thing that irks me for the NS6 case is that removable diagonal-cut front piece. Feel like I need to shank someone after I pull it off.
I originally intended to stuff my stand and Macbook inside my case as well, but after further consideration, have abandoned that idea for now. Ive got plenty of DJ backpacks for that duty. Although it is still possible, because it is large enough.
But yeah, hope you got some good ideas to fix up your case. Would like to see how it turns out. Good luck!

Looks good Kenso,
I just found out that my old CD case is just about the perfect size for my NS6. I'm about to rip out the dividers and add some foam and maybe a compartment underneath for stuff. Here is a pic of my case with the NS6 on top of the lid: picasaweb.google.com
