It's that time again...here's my newest club mix...hot off the turntables. This is how most of my gigs go these days. Plenty of wordplay, a little bit of scratching (I still suck at scratching) blah blah you know the drill.

Gotta give props to DJ Construc...I've been doing the Party All Night to Give Me Everything mix since before I heard his mix, but it sounds much better with an acapella out, as he did on his hukelau mix...so I made an acapella out for it which I now use.

Great mix as always! when dubstep came in it was done! i think dubstep sucks! and people don't really like it, dubstep or Elephant music needs to end now.....

damn I came in here thinking this was gonna be a mix of the records from the infmous london label shut up & dance (big up smiley & PJ).

Was kinda dissapointed, then I listened to it!

as for that enlightening statement, what u really mean is......

U Don't like it, & at the places U play neither do ur crowd. That does not however mean that as u so eloquently put it "NO ONE LIKES IT & IT NEEDS TO DIE"

Dubstep is hugely popular here in its hometown of london. Filling arena's with hundreds & occasionally thousands of people, all coming to hear the music u dont like.

Seriously I hate house music, but I dont want it to die. If it does it means that all those people who like house will prob end up in my club, pestering me to play a bunch of tracks I personally dont like. Here in the UK we have a saying which is

Horses for courses. (basically meaning some horses run better on flat & others run better with jumps etc).


Same thing with music dude.

@dj garcia: Sorry you don't like dubstep...my crowds do...glad you liked the rest of the mix.

@DJ Sketchy: I put the drops at the beginning because I find it annoying to have tons of drops all throughout the mix...just 3 at the beginning and one at the end...I think it's less obtrusive.

@Nicky Blunt haha maybe one day I'll do a mix of that stuff. Not sure I am familiar with enough of it for a full length mix though.

@yaeLBrown I don't like dubstep enough to do a full length mix of it, and my scratching isn't great...but glad you liked this one.

Found out today that the first 25 or so minutes of this mix will air on 96.1 The Beat Colorado for their 4th of July weekend mixshow, and I've been given the opportunity to have a monthly mixshow too! Super stoked!
