Vestax Handy Trax vs numark PT-01 for mixing ? how's the record wear?

i've seen those videos of the 45 king mixing with 2 vestex portables (really dope) and i want to hook up the same kind of setup. i'm leaning toward the vestex cause it's stereo. any body used both? do either of them trash records quicker? does a saffire needle wear out records slower or faster than a diamond one?

so the numark has mono outs... i guess that wouldn't work with serato... the serato control signal is stereo so it wouldn't work, right? So i guess i'm gonna get the vestex if nobody knows of a better option.
