Serato Software Feature Suggestions

What features would you like to see in Serato software?

DENON DN-S3700 Hybrid Mode

unclebnz 4:33 PM - 11 October, 2010
The hybrid mode is a great new feature. The only thing missing is having Serato to implement the lights on the deck. If enough of us request it then theres a possibility for it to be written in the next firmware update. Please support.

+1. On that it would be great. And denon did an awesome update.

Denon has said that 3700 will NEVER have native support !

P.S: Hybrid mode has been developped by Denon only.

+1000 for the lights

+1. Now the Serato team should have no "technical limitation" excuses since the only thing they have to worry about is MIDI mapping the buttons and knobs.

Once Again SERATO and DENON agreed to not give native support to the DN-S3700.
Blackie Lox 6:36 PM - 15 October, 2010
Ok. Did any of them state WHY they agreed to this by any chance?

I don't understand what is going on between denon and serato and this native support issue. They have worked together already on making some players/controllers native, so why not the 3700's. This is one of the best decks on the market right now alongside the CDJ's. There is no reason this deck should not have the support. Denon has done its part by creating Hybrid Mode. Loyal Serato users would like Serato to do its part and give 3700's Native Support. Thank You. KEEP THIS GOING GUYS!

Sure that 3700 is THE BEST emulating vinyl sensation Player, but i think that there's some business issues that we don't know and we will never know...
Maybe because there's not enought sells of 3700 or because pay Serato for Native support is too expensive for Denon... that's what i think or maybe i'm wrong... but in the meaning time i will not buy these player and keeps my Technics...

I really want to buy 2 Denon DNS3700 but only if the works 100% with serato. On the net you can find JJ's midi mapping for the DNS3700 but does it work for 100%, such as ilumination of knobs and buttons, tack info on the display?? has somebody experience with this?
Thanks for replieying

Here is my MIDI mapper. I haven't updated it in a while. www.poweronplay.com The PDF is old.

I'm working on getting the LED's and display to work. If you trick Win 7 into thinking it's a HC4500, you can get the HID and some LED's to work. Serato doesn't want to support it because they don't get any revenue per unit sold.

I haven't bought them yet so I'm not able to test it out. I only want to buy them when I'm sure they'll work with serato & mac. It's a shame that the top player from Denon isn't supported!
In belgium everybody wants Pioneer, but only the expensive models are supported by Serato.
J.J., I hope you get the Midi mapper working with display and led's ! Good luck !

PLEASE make the LEDs work!

it sucks playing a club, or dark place with no led buttons lit up at all :/
