Theyi will do it when Vestax and Numark create another controller for it. So they can get more money. Since they did not even design for it with the effects midi controllers.

I couldn't wait and bought KueIt. Giged with it last night and it was nice to be able to play samples once again while using my NS7.

it does the trick for less than $100...now I need to get me an AKAI LPD8 and I should be to go.

What other Sampler software is out there?? i do like the way kueit looks and works tho..

Nope, unless you interface the app with a usb MIDI device.

Does anybody here is already using KueIt with the AKAI LPD8 ?

I'm curious as of whether or not it's possible to trigger the samples in KueIt with the LPD8 while it is minimized ( on the background ) and at the same time having ITCH in FULL SCREEN.

Right now I'm using the keyboard to trigger the samples, but I'm forced to swap back-and-forth between ITCH and KueIt to be able to use them.

Anyone?

This has a feature called "background key detection" so u dont need to switch back and forth between softwares

I believe if you decide to take the MIDI route, there is no need to worry about it working in the background, should work in any software regardless of which one is in focus, once you setup the MIDI mapping it should work. I have a LPD8 but I use it with Ableton Live and it works flawlessly.

Hi Dj Beware,

I finally had the chance to get to Sam Ash last night and bought the LPD8....It's awesome !!!...and yes, KueIt does run perfectly on the background while ITCH is in focus.

I mapped the pads to trigger the samples and the knobs to control the individual samples' volume.

I should have done this months ago...now my NS7 rig is complete !!!
