I need some new control vinyl, but I'm just wondering which ones are the lightest for scratching? I hear the Eric Orr one is light, but I'm based in the UK so it's tough for me to find some of them.

The NON-Black CV's are arguably the lightest. I had that same isssue, bought some "Clears" and it felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders...
Literally.

Hi sm.ghanem.
Colored vinyl is often heavier than normal black vinyl. But clear vinyl can be lighter.
It's a preference thing, so it's up to you, however, because most of the control vinyl we do is limited edition, don't sleep on getting the non-black editions :D

I dunno man, there's a GRIP of people on here who would claim otherwise...
For example, I'm hearing that the Greens were the lightest out of them all...

Sorry, what I meant was that pure picture discs are generally heavier.
The translucents are lighter due to the manufacturing techniques...
Though each type of material and technique has slightly differing weights.
My favorites are the reds... but that could be because I've played on them more and gotten used to them.

No prob, feel free to send me some Whites whenever you get the chance.

Whites? I'd rather have the pinks or yellows. But that's just me.....hint, hint
