What's your current USB buffer setting? Does adjusting the USB buffer setting to 9 (and then clicking apply) have any affect?

Try changing the Graphics option within your System Preferences Energy Saver to Higher Performance.

I found the reason and the solution.

1. Guess its a compatibility problem with the new i series processor that is causing the software glitch. The Window will automatically maximize and minimize itself. This is a script glitch with an apple software called Rosetta Stone.

we need to disable it and delete this software in order for Scratch live to work properly. I think Rane needs to come up with a patch for this issue?

Unfortunately like you just said the problem is not with Rane nor Serato so they can't do anything about it. Otherwise I think the patch or update would of been out considering the "I" Series processors and like the only Intel processors that are being used. The problem really lies with Intel, but Apple can create a patch or update to fix the problem.

Isn't Rosetta Stone a language tutoring program?

Hi jemhockey,

Quick question for ya, how did you disable to uninstall Rosetta Stone? I have another user experiencing the same flickering screen issue.

Thanks!

Hey i think i go the solution for you

first go to the folder : /usr/libexec/oah/translate

and remove anything that says rosetta there

then open terminal and type the following:

sudo /usr/sbin/sysctl -w kern.exec.archhandler.powerpc=/usr/libexec/oah/RosettaNonGrata

this should fo the trick
