Naming our CUE points... Please

musiclee 8:37 PM - 27 December, 2006
Hi again,
I am used to naming all my CUE points,

Instead of assigning a color (which does not tell me much)how about:
being able to name it like: Verse, Chorus , Bridge,

or naming it according to a song part.
for instance the song "Hotel California" you could name one cue point "Welcome to the" so you'd know this is the Chorus, etc.

sounds like a neat idea to me. All I know is that my cue points bring me to the beginning of a song, but beyond the first cue point, I have no idea where the rest go.

pretty cool idea.

for now, what if u color code ur cues? like all red cues are the beginning of the track, all yellows are choruses, all blues are bridges...

cool idea and i'd like to see my Loop pints a bit easier on the waveforms too, not just when ones coming up

Pete Moss 2:14 AM - 3 April, 2007
A note for cues would be awesome. I had that thought last night.
cappinkirk 6:30 PM - 13 April, 2007
i've been using red for 1/4 beats, purple for a chorus start, orange for a vocal (nonchorus) start, blue for a classic skratch...i have a few others but i will sound mad nerdy if I explain them
cappinkirk 4:46 PM - 17 April, 2007
i color code my tracks too...
asapflowSSL 12:35 PM - 23 April, 2007

Konix 7:15 PM - 17 August, 2007

i order my cues in the way i would play the track.. if there is a clear 8 (or 16 or 32 or whatever) beats at the end of the track, i'll have that as my first cue and the the second cue somewhere in the begining of the track..

still, naming them wouldn't be a bad idea...
