Regular style or battle style ?

DJ McKay 1:22 PM - 23 April, 2010
just wondering for all the Table rockers what style do you prefer. Regular or Battle ?Personally i hate rockin Regular style im all about Battle style just for the simple fact that the needle is just about totally out of your way.
DJ JEMZ 1:27 PM - 23 April, 2010
i dont mind either, but i prefer regular cause when im "remixing" / blending tracks on the fly, or even if im just mixing, its easier to have it in regular to ride/fix the pitch cause you can get to the pitch fader quickly
Nicky Blunt 1:28 PM - 23 April, 2010
battle mode 100% of the time, I get pissed when the TT's are regular or "house" style.

But its more common to have them set up that way here in the uk!
s3kn0tr0n1c 1:32 PM - 23 April, 2010
battle style is regular for us and should be used everywhere....

tuntables are closer and tonearms are out the way...

Electro is starting to grow on me, lol, I guess it's because I've been in Germany for nearly four years, but I'm like JEMZ, if you also throw some SOCA in there.

Well thats only true if he is talking single cases. if you talking coffin case Odyssey has them i have one and i love it. It's got the battle style for the tables and the rack for the comp and below that is the shelf for the SSL box and if your External HD is small enough then you might be able to fir that on the shelf also. It's kinda heavy but to me its worth not having to plug and unplug all the cables ever gig.
Discobee 6:20 PM - 23 April, 2010
I put the left deck in battle style and the right deck regular style. You're not cool if you have both turntables the same way.
PopRoXxX 6:22 PM - 23 April, 2010
BATTLE!!

Get those tone arms outta the way!

"Get OUTTA tha way ... Get OUTTA tha way ... F*ck the tonearms - Get OUTTA tha way!"

Battle, I occasionally use them regular at home because the table is only wide enough to fit them like that. Not totally comfortable with them like that though.
