I have been runinng the 2.0 beta on my macbook witch is my back up laptop. the last beta i installed on there is (20035). The album art gets big and streches to a nice size. When the 2.0 final came out I dl it and installed it on my dj laptop a macbook pro. when i looked at the album art it was extremely smaller than the beta version. first i thought it was my screen res i tried differnt settings but that wasnt the prob. (yes i tried the art & font size sliders) one thing I did notice is that the art column on the track list is not in the same place as it is in the beta version. The art column comes first in the list in the beta and in the release it comes 3rd (color dot ,track number, then album art) .... so how can i get the album art to a big size on my macbook pro like on my macbook

Hello Mister,

You can boost the album art size by boosting the 'album art' slider in the Library tab of setup.

yes in one of the beta versions the art grids where changed to show more tracks as before the size was set by how many columes you had in your crate track list. so moving the album art size wouldnt work. now you can make the art work smaller with the may Zach s mentiond and bigger.
they also made some changes to make the art load up quicker aswell.

So all should be working fine.

Hey Ripper,

This is a quote from Andy at Serato,
Quote:
we changed this on purpose cos everyone was hating on how they had these huge pics but couldn't see any track data or more than 2 tracks at a time, plus it made no sense to have fixed size art on all view except that view, which completely ignored the size setting.

So.. it sounds like this was by design and was changed due to feedback by our users.

okay zach, ... i must have missed that post becase i would have voted for it 2 stay the same becase if they didnt want it that big they could use the slider to make it smaller but know i cant use the slider to make it bigger the way i need it. if the the album art is big enough u dont need to read the track info and know the art dosent get big enough that u can read the art... i might just put beta 20035 on my pro how stable is it zach

I'm not sure how stable that beta is. I personally wouldn't use it live.
