Absolute or Relative Mode?

Evon 12:14 PM - 10 April, 2010
What do you Djs use?
I play EDM music but still use Absolute mode. Just ordered Traktor X1 midicontroller so I probably start using Relative mode more often.
BERTO 1:27 PM - 10 April, 2010
EDM relative mode!!

In my opinion, there is really no benefit of using absolute over relative. I don't care what you are playing relative mode is the way to go.

relative with the "allow needle dropping " option on.

best of both worlds.
DJ Dub Cowboy 9:34 PM - 10 April, 2010
relative with 'drop to cue'
kryptonitednb 10:25 PM - 10 April, 2010
Relative mode. Otherwise you simply have SSL so you don't have to tote records around.

The only benefit absolute has is that it's the closest thing to using real vinyl. If you beat juggle you'll probably like absolute but you can also beat juggle in relative
