Looking to jazz up my home setup with some Studio Monitors. I've been using an old Sony Home Theater system: Using 2 of the speakers that still work along with the receiver.
I'm most likely looking for some powered monitors that have several inputs.
If anyone is using some Desktop speakers instead of Studio Monitors let me know how that is working out for ya?

rokit 5' are solid. i paid $230 for the pair at guitar center. they sound great. for the price you can't go wrong...
they pack a punch for small speakers, if you live in an apt. they're plenty loud enough. recommended.

I was thinking of getting that combo but when for a slightly cheaper, but larger pair of HS80Ms without a sub. When I compared them in the shop, I reckoned the 80s bass was a lot tighter than 50s with the sub.
Both sounded bloody awsome, best set in the shop for the price.
