Where do you guys get legal music to use?

Where do you guys get legal music to use?

I'm just wondering if we can use cd's we have bought, or if there is a site with all the legal music we can use for DJing. Because I'm pretty sure it wouldnt be safe to use the music off limewire or any of those types of free downloaders.

actually i have one more question, what programs do you use to make your own beats. And where do i go to get the sound effects?
