i want to use my Stanton scs.3d midi controller with serato. so i copy the xml file of the preset from the scs.3d folder in my computer. then i go to my scratch live folder and there is no midi folder. but the documents which are usualy in midi were there, so i made a midi folder and put those in the foler alongwith the preset. when in serato i go to midi and no presets are shown

Are you putting the xml file in your ~/Music/ScratchLIVE/MIDI/ folder? That's where it has to be.

If you don't have a MIDI folder, then just make a new folder called "MIDI" in your ScratchLIVE folder and put the scs3d xml file in there.
