Virtual DJ has a wonderful Effekt. Its called LoopOut. This is an effekt which loops for example one Beat and becomes more and more quietly with an echo effect. It sounds like a reverberant sound.
With this nice effect you can make very good cut almost on every place in an extended song. For example when there is a strong Vocal.

For example lalalala..."Riverside Mutharfucka" "facka" "facka" facka" and this softs more and more.

Just use autoloop and the fader on your mixer.

thats not the same. It sound totally different. The LoopOut Effect which I mean is a combination with a loop and a Echo Out and it becomes more and more quietly.
So its a combination of three parts: loop, Fader and echo (on mixer but this is really difficult to use it exactly in this way that its sounds as well like this effect)

Check out the ducking echo on the pioneer djm 909 youtube it. It's like that. Great feature. Trakktor has it as well there is a how to on djtechtools on it.
