Hi @all

I had installed Scratch Live on an Acer Travelmate 4021 LMI 1,66
Centrino, Win XP before 8 month. No problem at all, no USB dropout. It worked perfect with this machine.(By the way thank you for this great DJ tool!)

Now I bought a brand new Sony Vaio FE21 M. 1,66 Core Duo, Win XP
Media Edition. I tried to install the USB driver from the orginal Sratch Live CD and the message "(!) Found New Hardware. A problem occurred during hardware installation. Your new hardware might not work properly" poped up. However then i tried to install the new XP USB driver (the fix) and the same happend too. "(!) Found New Hardware. A problem occurred during hardware installation. Your new hardware might not work properly"

Now I need help

Thank you

Frank

Have you tried another USB port?

If you don't have another USB port to use, try this. Plug in the SL1 and try installing the driver manually from the Device Manager menu, Start->Control Panel->System->Hardware tab->Device Manager. Go to Universal Serial Bus controllers and there will probably be a yellow and black question mark icon and it should say 'Unknown Device.' Right click on that and select 'update driver.' Then it will go through the install process again where it will prompt you to point where the driver installation files are.

Hi Konix, yes i tried another USB port for installing the driver and the way you're description in your post. It was horrible. It doesn't work. But now I'm happy. I fixed the bug. Let me tell you my experience. I went to the sony HP and downloaded all the updates for the whole stuff in this laptop. I updated all the hardware drivers. At least the Toshiba Blue Stack for Bluetooth.
Afterwards i installed the scratch live USB driver again and it is working perfect now. It located on the Bluetooth not on Scratch Live. Thank you for input Konix.
