Can't hear sound when connected to DJ Controller Serato

Hi,

I've been trying to troubleshoot this for ages. I can't hear any sound only when I connect my DJ controller. I've played around with input/outpot and that still doesn't work. I can hear it without it being connected but when I connect it I don't hear anything. Can you please assist?

is your controller connected to speakers?

reason why you cant hear audio in your laptop is cause your controller is the sound output,

so u have to run speakers from your controller.

Would help if you mentioned which controller you have…my guess it’s prob something as simple as your trim/gain knobs are muted/off. Noob mistake.
