Scratching: Hamster Vs. Regular?

What are your thoughts peoples. I would really be interested to hear from people who have had a good experience at both styles, even changed over from one to the other because of X reasons.
I am a hamster scratcher (just followed in line with what Q taught us!) but wondering if regular might have some advantages, I noticed if I crab in regular, my thumb naturally always cut the sound at the end, whilst I have to make a point of it in regular as my last movement is fader on.
let's hear some opinions..

I think that if you can rock hamster style thats cool. However, i also thought that the only reason why djs (like q and mmm) scratch hamster style is cuz they came up on mixers without sharp faders so they would cut with the phono/line switch which was backwards. So when sharp faders came out they were already used to scratching that way. I don't really see a reason for dj's learning to scratch now to use hamster style. At the end of the day though i don't think it makes a difference... if u practice enough you will be able to kill it either way you decide to learn.

I try to do both.
-better @ chirps and stabs with hamster, better @ transforms and flares with regular.
My right hand has greater record control (hamster) but it also has stronger fader control (regular).
I would like someday to be equal at both...
