if you follow jazzy jeff you might have notice over the past year he plays alot of original songs that transition to the song that uses the sample, my does any one has any idea where he's getting them from....help

I recently did a gig called Sample This, which required me to play original songs and the songs that sampled them. I used this site to see where the song samples came from.

If you are looking for a pool that may have a lot of the original songs that are used as samples, the Beatjunkies record pool would be your best bet.

A recent example for me - JR Mafia - Get Money uses a sample from You Cant Turn Me Away by Sylvia Striplin - www.whosampled.com

Agreed, beatjunkies record pool has a lot of original classics from back in the day ;-)
