I love Serato Studio deeply but I'm finding it to be very crashy.
Using a few third party VSTs it becomes slow and very hard to mix a song.
I'm using the current beta. I'm getting crashes multiple times a day (M1 mac on Sonoma).
Are there any performance updates coming to look forward to?

Also, with buffer set to the highest I always end up with stuttering playback

Hi,
I just wanted to chime in as well.
Having Ableton Suite, Fl Studio, Logic Pro and MPC Live 2 I never found it necessary to download additional third party VSTs.
But getting into Serato Studio (and really liking it) I felt limited with the provided instruments lately. Seeing no Sound Packs for a good while I finally found the desire to purchase some other plugins/effects.
On a M1 Macbook Pro with Sonoma I have been experiencing crashes as well. When I use these third party VSTs I also notice Studio becoming very laggy/glitchy to the point it is hardly worth trying to utilize them.
What is the future of Serato Studio looking like? Will we get more Sound Packs, or more FX? I'm sure some would just be happy with an update to resolve the crashing, and issues with these third party plugins.

Ah man today my project will not open. I am getting crashes every time I try to open it so troubleshooting. What is the procedure for getting a crashing project to open?

Serato doesnt seem to respond to much on these boards. Wondering if Studio is dead in the water these days.

I have to discern what Serato clashes with, in fact, I would say it clashes less than Bitwig, Mixcraft and FL studio [ I use all three ] when I use VST 2/3. What Serato has is the facility to create ideas quickly and export them in seconds. My criticism is that the sequencer is already 'primitive' and 'obsolete' with measures of only 8 steps and entering the year 2025 with A.I. already over our heads. It can't be that the developers ignore the users with such basic functions as having an option to use 8/16/24/32 or 64 steps for the sequencer and thus greatly expand the use of the scenes, instead of having 8 scenes with variations, you could have everything in 1 single 64 step, just sayin'.
