I'm having problems using Serato video for karaoke, the video screen keeps lagging behind the music & sometimes buffering. Using pioneer ddjsx2 & acer 1tb 16gb laptop

Which version are you using? That plug in is getting reaaaalllly old as well. Wish they would give it some love.

Any recent updates to operating system (macOS or Windows) that you noticed?

If you haven't updated Serato in a while I think we can rule that out as the culprit, but the video stuff makes me wonder if something is bogging down that part of your system.
