try searching...it really does work...there were a few discussions on the forum sometime ago.......

I used this soundpant. Well I tried it out as soon as I seen notch post. It took all of my cpu Usage, Ram. I have 2gigs of ram, been meaning to upgrade. But am to lazy to go to best buy. I think I just might buy KUE it. Or wait untill January. But if Serato ITCH does make a sampler. HERE is another thing we have to take into effect.


WILL THEY MAKE IT TO USE ON THE KEYBOARD FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T WANT TO BUY THE NEW HARDWARE.

Because the VCI 300 is a beautiful machine. I will not be using anything else for awhile. ALSO ANOTHER THING.

Will the hardware be a DJING hardware. Or like a SFX hardware. Decisions serato has to make. Decisions.

I saw what the guy posted and I thought it wouldn't be fair to start a thread about it without mentioning it was "his" find. I will try searching" cuz it really does work. funny bones.

and BTW I am still new to the forum world.. and is it etiquette to not start a new thread? See I didn't know that. Maybe I should search" to see if someone has talked about Forum ettiquette or better yet send me a link.

soundplant wont work on my acer aspire I dont get it worked once when i first instlled it and now I install it re install it it just doesnt work at all the board comes up but whe ni try to trigger a sound fx nothing happens ?????

anyone have any feedback on what might be going on

soundplant works perfect most likely your cables are setup up wrong......watt are setup do u have

its not even that it doesnt work on the computer at all even when I have my vci 300 unplugged it makes no sound it wont even cycle through the sound there is just nothing at all the sound effect wont go through the cycle at all

is it cause I am still trying to use the free version do I have to buy the upgraded version or is there a place that I can download sound fx that will work with the free version???

I have my vci 300 hooke dup through the usb and then my regular out jack from the computer going into the mic in the vci 300 do i have to set this up diffrent do I have to download the other version of soundplant ??

I dont use the vci300 anymore,but i did have soundplant running with my vci300...
(it was the free version) i now use the paid version (with my v7s) so i kind of forgot watt was the difference...anyways i did notice when using the vci and itch that sometimes it would only work if i turned soundplant on first or itch on first, i cant remember witch order it was....could be something with the sound card the laptop needs to recognize soundplant is running then try switching on itch afterward or the other way...

you mention there is no sound coming out at all when using soundplant ?
are you dragging and dropping effects into soundplant ?
also im pretty sure with the free version you can only use wave format not mp3 etc etc that could be your issue if the sound is not working.....



i would 1st try to get sound out of soundplant
then once you establish that move onto running the sound while working witt itch..

that might be it all together is the mp3 files but would you know where i could download some sound effects in wave form i apologize for all the questions but I am very new at all this I have just started out and maybe got in a little over my head with the equipment that I have purchased. I appreciate all the feedback "djbagz" it is much appreciated

i dont knw where u can download wav files with effects...
you can always go to download.com look for a wav converter and watt ever effects u currently have convert them to wav files....

but if i was you,I would just use any wav file that you have and check to see if it works witt soundplant that way u knw for sure if ur soundplant is working currently

awesome buddy I checked out you mix I liked it was awesome I found my problem I had tried converting it before but the converter i was using wasnt working properly I found a converter on download.com as you suggested and works awesome now thanks allott bud I much appreciate the help :)
