Does anyone have the specifics for what a video has to be encoded with what settings to be 100% compatible with Serato Video?
I have some videos that I would like use as media to play when i load up a song with no video, but the videos either show up as a black screen OR it just outright crashes Serato Video. The videos work in VLC outside of serato video. Tested on both Windows and OSX
I looked at other known working videos using mediainfo (program) and tried to reencode the video using handbrake and replicating those settings but I must be missing something cause when I try to play them in serato video, I'm getting the same results. Saw the official article, but it's outdated and i've tried what was stated.
Currently have tried in handbrake:
Mp4
x264
720p/1080p,
30/29.97 FPS
encode level to 4.0
cabac turned on or (off)
reference and b-frames to 2
bitrate to 2000 kbps with 2 pass
Inside encoding settings, what options or advanced options should I use?
Thanks
