I have SL1 hooked up to Rane TTM 54, Techics, and M1 Active 620 speakers. I am hooking everything up for the first time and I cannot hear any music through Serato...just the control tone. My mixer is set to "Line" and my RCA cables are all hooked up correctly: Thru to Phono and Line to Line. What else could be causing this? If I dont have speakers hooked up, should I be able to hear any music? Maybe they are hooked up incorrectly? Please help...thanks!!!

Hi Erin123.
Try disconnecting everything, then plugging the turntable directly into the mixer, play a normal record (or the control tone). If that works, then plug the turntable into the SL 1 INPUT then the SL 1 LINE output into the DJ mixer's LINE input. Do you still hear the control tone?
If not, do you hear any music if you play using the internal mode?

I have been using my serato fine until today. Now I cannot hear audio out of the left turntable. the right turntable sounds fine. I calibrated both turntables and everything looks fine. I am also able to hear the audio out of my headphones but not sure why I cant hear anything out of the amp. please help.

Oh and just to clarify- I have the Serato properly connected from the LINE outputs to my mixer.

If you take the Line outputs from your SL 1 and swap them over into your DJ mixer, does the problem follow the swap, or is the left deck still not getting audio?

hey thanks for the help but not sure I understand how I should be swapping the cables. I am taking the Line cables out of the serato box and swapping them with the line inputs on the mixer? so am i just reversing them?
I was attempting to play out of the left deck again today and after a few minutes of letting the record spin, the audio suddently came on but didnt last. not sure if that tidbit of info can help..
thanks

Have you tried different cables? Sounds like there's signal being lost.

Thanks. I'll try that and let you know if that makes a difference.
