Thanks nik39, for pointing me in this direction.

I have hated the fact that the metadata wa not written into the mp4's. I would always add the videos and then go back later to fix the tagging. SSL would never see the changes.

Now, it's the way it should be.

Thanks Serato Team for getting this setup.
I am testing now.

hi i tried the new version 19219 release candidate ,i realize that they cancel the key's spot on the display. or there is way 2 sort the tagged keys.
djpuma_gemini 11:51 PM - 9 October, 2009
Can someone answer this.
Say I installed 1.9.2 (19215) built all overviews with it and decide to play out with 1.9.1 where are the cues written if I'm using 1.9.1

note, I deleted all the old ovb xml files from the scratchlive folder.

Thanks

Workaround: Rebuild the overviews. No need to manually load all those tracks.

This has noting to do with the above posts. I was wondering if there would be an option in Serato DJ going forward to remove the "song" column. Since every other column is removable, this one should be given that option. Also, I bought the Pioneer DDJ-SZ with Serato being enabled by default. I purchased most of the packs and was wondering... if Serato is allowed to be used one eligible laptop/computer at at time, then shouldn't music packs be eligible to be activated/used one laptop/computer at a time, instead on deactivating and then reactivating the software. Very frustrating. I taught Apple was horrible.

I would most likely lean towards no on this, as the Song column also populates the file name of the song/video imported when tags are not written (or correctly written) to the file. I could be wrong, but this is my 2 cents on this.

I'm ahead of the game. I've been using 1.9.2 for years. It's really stable.

Just the option to add/remove the song column, not remove it completely. Other features I would like to see in the near future are as follows:
1: A little bigger and longer song/track display window.
2: The ability to save my Serato Library every time on Windows PC's, unlike Macs.
3: The ability to use Expansion Packs, and Sampler when not plugged into a Serato controller. This allows for preparation before a gig.
4: Unlimited Column width, user dependent.
Mr. Goodkat 9:50 PM - 22 June, 2016
used the beta this morning at a gig and i got the spinning backward deck about 30 mins in.

for the other 4 hours i used ssl and no probs.

i give up until i get a new computer. i keep having to rename my midi folder, its just dumb.

was you on Serato DJ 1.9.2? This be SSL 1.9.2
popnwave 4:59 PM - 27 June, 2016
So far 1.9.2 has been awesome on my Mid 2012 MBP. When I fired up Serato Video I saw a pretty damn big spike in CPU usage and got my first dropout warnings in a long time. When I switch off SV and fired up Mix Emergency no issues with usage at all.

The sorting options alone will have me upgrading once this is out of beta.
