I have an SL3 and just got a new Mac. The SL3 is not being recognized. It had a pop up window for the driver. I pressed OK instead of going into the security & privacy settings.
Now I can't get the pop up driver to display again ? SL3 is still not being recognized.
Do I have to uninstall and re-install ? I may need help with a total uninstall. It seems although I move the previous version to the trash, it seems it is still embedded and I can't get the driver pop up to display again.

My DJ laptop is back on Catalina for this exact reason. It’s a pain.
Someone on here may be able to help you get it recognised though. Can you not use time machine to go back before the install? Or have you not backed up?

These are now legacy devices and no longer supported unfortunately. This has been well publicised in recent months, there is currently no standalone DVS interface that is supported.

I have not used time machine as of yet. I was prompted to download version 2.5.5 once i plugged in the hardware which seemed to work, but i believe it is the OS that is locking out the driver. I remember seeing a message from OS stating “lock” Moving the serato program to trash and reinstalling does not fix it. I believe i have to completely wipe out all the searato program and sub files. The link below is simply my problem : but dont know how to get the security and privacy prompt again to unlock the driver.

You sure 🤔 I bought a Denon DS-1 when I got my 2021 MBP last year for this reason and it works perfectly like it is supposed to. It doesn't require a driver whatsoever.
It would be up to Rane to make a driver for older devices like my SL2 which will float around in the lab on a PC.

The DS-1 works but is discontinued and prices on the market have gone crazy.

You can safely use 2.5.7 with the SL3 in Monterey. To get that prompt to return, you’d have to wait 30 minutes from the last attempt and then try installing from the package installer once more. If that didn’t work, uninstalling, restarting then installing an additional time should work.
If none of that works, try manually loading the SL3 driver (which is a kernel extension) via Terminal:
sudo kextload /path/to/kext.kext
I forget the specific name of the driver but it’s listed in System Profiler under Drivers and Extensions. SL3Driver10.9.kext or something similar.
