I think for the production of electro tracks, this will work. However, this device, for a DJ, live on stage, is nothing but a toy. Reminds me of Pyramid mixers with it's fucked up sound effects.

blah, it looks like it only works with audio inputs. ableton/reason and axiom pro49 for production.. all day.

looks like you have to have an NI program running to use the effects. that's just something else going on in the background. plus you have to lug around a keyboard. if i needed tons of effects, i'd just get myself the pio efx.

yeah maybe not for your mobile dj but shit i said i would not carry a laptop to gigs years ago too... this is dope for production and i can see more edm guys using it ...but to think this could not be applied to hip hop is crazy... sample manipulation is hip hop...

I got "the finger" enough times already from Native Instruments.

To the point where I vowed never to spend money with them again, and rarely pass up an opportunity to mention what a dishonest company they are.

This is awesome for production!!! You can run live sound as well too if you wanna hook up your sound system through ableton then to the house sound system and get pretty nutty too. I'm sure a 25 key midi controller would suffice
