I did.
I suggest you keep a copy of the version you CURRENTLY using handy though.

I installed it 3 times, thinking I might have had to maybe do a full install, ect ect

each time the video in VSL would fire up, but as soon as I load a video
I get the scratchliveplgn not working.

first move.
uninstalled Quicktime and loaded the version I keep on my external.

right back to good old performance.

so, be weary.
I couldnt find the release notes for the quicktime update though

no, they did a windows one as well.

it comes in the bundle with the new Itunes/Iphone Compatibilty/ safari

I didnt because that was all relative to the snow leopard update I thought.

yup, thats a big negative for me.

installed 1.1.1 (with older qt installed) worked fine.
updated to the newest QT right from apple site.

same thing.
video SL Started fine.
as soon as video loaded plugin error.

reverted to 7.62.14.0 works fine.

I dont mind using that one...just be noted.

Im so damn close.
I had 2k worth of car issues...perfect timing.

just waiting for a few things to come together then Ill be rocking the 15 3.01

I have the newest version of qt installed and 1.1.1 with Perian 1.1.4...snow installed as well...no performance issues besides a LAG in audio/video that I never had before (on my Macbook Pro).

Wow this just killed my night at work! I had myself thinking that It was a graphics card issue, even went back and did a system restore! This really ruined at least one night for me. Then when I realized the link to a quicktime update, uninstalling proved a challenge as well. I had to use the Windows Install Cleanup tool just to get it off my machine. I should have known better, but who would ever think there would be a consequence for updating quicktime via it's popup alert on net connect. I hope someone either fixes this or figures out a better way to warn people.

Anyone know where to get this or at least a file name? I just ended up going with the version that comes with the install for video SL 1.1.0
