Why is midi controller mapping so limited for this wonderful plugin?

Hello Serato folks,
First of all, i'd like to say, I absolutely love sample. It is the centerpiece of my sample based workflow, which I do a lot of and it's fantastic. But i'm finding that the limited midi controller mapping is keeping this plugin from being even better.
Please make the following function parameters available for controller mapping on next update
- Undo/Redo
- Select All/Deselect All
- Keyboard Mode On/Off
- Zoom In/Out
- Scrubbing Main Waveform for precision (Different from Seeking Waveform Overview)
- Cue length control on currently selected Cue
- Eject Sample
- Reset song BPM to original
- x2 or 1/2 BPM
- Control Levels, Filter, Attack, Release, Reverse for ALL PADs, at once, instead of changing these parameters for one pad at a time (This is already possible to do using "select all", but "select all" is not available for controller mapping)
- Control Levels, Filter, Attack, Release, Reverse for ACTIVE PAD only (current midi mapping requires users to map each parameter on each cue to a separate midi signal.)
Making this available would allow users to control sample without having to open the interact and mess with a mouse or keyboard once a sample is loaded, and will make certain actions much faster & tactile.
Because these are features already available in the plug-in, I sincerely hope they won't be difficult to implement.
Thank you again for all your wonderful work on this beauty!

Midi mapping slice start and end and zoom are top priority. Mouse sucks for exploring loops and auto transients suck too. It's the non obvious slices that catch your ear imo.

@functionform - you're completely right! It really is finding the subtle slices that make it worth it. Being able to do it using a jog wheel or a controller knob of some sort would make for an amazing sampling experience, as with the old days of using hardware samplers.
I think the way Serato implemented it is good in the software as well, meaning to have one function as a seeker to quickly traverse a sample beginning to end, and then a scrubber to precisely find the sample you need, aided with zooming in and out. If we could tie these functions to some controller knobs, this app would be perfect!

@Verb305 - I hope they do!
Serato please make it happen in the next update :) You guys already have the features in the software, just need the ability to tie it with the external hardware of our choice. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Cmon Serato! This is my favorite sampler. Plz make these midi features available. I hate using a mouse when I could map to hardware.

I'm with you on this. It would make for a much more seamless and tactile exprience if they just make these features open for mapping. I would think after this many updates, they would be so at this point, it's a no-brainer to have them. I just hope they listen

Rather than being tied to your mouse and computer keyboard, MIDI mapping enables you to connect a performance friendly instrument to your computer such as a MIDI piano keyboard (i.e. LPK25 mini) or MIDI controller (i.e. APC40) and control functions inside Ableton.

I thought I would find several playlists of metal. But I'm gonna try some anyway :)
