Wouldn't it be nice to have a legato mode when in keyboard mode, where the sample does not retrigger but follows the pitch of your sample according to the note (offset or fixed) you play on a midi keyboard.

You can kind of achieve the same effect by mapping a midi controller to the key shift amount for the pad in question, but that's an extra hand / bit more setup.
