This is one of my biggest problems with serato and I've read loads of threads where other people are having issues with this.

Lots of the FX require the DJ to manually control the tempo/timing of the effect. It is so difficult to get perfect timing with tracks that it basically makes these effects unusable.

Make the effects sync to the BPM or the beatgrid of the track it's on. This should be so simple to do. You could even have a button to sync the effect if desired (extremely rare I'd bet).

The key one for me that I used a load on Traktor is the gate effect. In Traktor you dont have to mess about with the timing of the gater, it's perfectly timed every time you turn it on, and it stays that way.

With serato's tremolo or transformer you have to play with the phase knob for ages and it always ends up falling out of sync and sounding like trash.
