DDJ-1000SRT audio dropouts

King Shameek 7:49 PM - 23 August, 2019
Sup fellow deejays? Is anyone else experiencing audio dropouts with the DDJ-1000SRT?

I have the latest MacBook Pro 2.5 GHz, Intel Core i7, 16G memory, macOS Sierra 10.12.6 with all the correct settings to avoid any USB dropouts. So it shouldn’t be my computer. It only started with the latest version of Serato DJ Pro that I had to update in order to be compatible with the 1000SRT.

I have a 2016 MacBook Pro and tested for 2 hours.
No problems with dropouts

I changed the USB buffer size from 1 to 2 and that seems to work.

To clarify if this fixed it this is a laptop issue not the controller.

Yep...

Yesterday, I used the SRT on an 2013 MacBook Pro at a 6 hour event and no problems at all.

How do you have the latest mbp with Sierra? Wouldn’t it come with Mojave OS?

there has been more than one 2.5 ghz i7 MacBook Pro. He was letting us know he has the most recent one......... which would be from 2017....... which CAN have Sierra........

Yes! Laptop issue. I’ve always had Scratch Live USB buffer size set to 1 but it seems Serato DJ Pro runs best when USB buffer size is at 2
