before you begin those are 2 different studio pieces. The Project I/O is a sound card and a control surface that is supposed to work with different applications suck as protools, digital performer, cubase, logic, etc. I am first hand tell you its a decent piece but has some quirks.
The Korg D3200 is basically a workstation/sequencer.
The 2 items are not comparable unless you are going a certain direction with your studio.
What do you currently have in your studio or studio to be built? Do you plan on using any software or a DAW?
What type of production are you looking to do?
Those are just some basic questions.

I like the proyect mix i/o but dont know wich to buy it..because i need a mac...and fruity loops that is what i do my beats is not compatible with MAC

fruity loops is not letting you tap into a creative flow i can tell you that if you like the simplicity of it try reason somewhat similiar concept but has a couple more goodies. if you really want to make beats you need to get a program that has a midi sequencer and get yourself some sound modules or virtual instruments to run. if you get a mac and looking for a simliar program to fruity loops try reason if you looking to step your game up i would highly recommened logic but you have to remember it is nothing like fruity loops.
also the project i/o again is a sound card plus a control surface. as a sound card its decent and the same goes for a control surface if you not familiar what a control surface is it is basically a piece of hardware that can be programmed to control certain parts of software kinda like a keyboard and mouse do but with command specific instructions for the software.
if your not intrested in a control surface or if your going to buy a midi controller like a keyboard that has sliders knobs etc you may not want to even get a project i/o. yes it looks cool but it has limited function.
again the korg is a small workstation it does nothing the project i/o does.
if you are goin to be doing alot of production on a daw (pc or mac) then i would look into a firewire sound card like a m-audio unit to work with protools mpowered this way you have the option if you decide to get a real daw program like protools or logic you will be able too. i would not recommened the project i/o or the korg. use that money to get more gear for your studio or software.

Well I can give you a couple of ideas and when i get back home from work 4 am i will give you some more feedback. But answer these questions first.
5 piece band? What type of music and is there a drummer, guitar, bass, etc let me know what type of instruments. There are a couple of options for you and i will do my best to give you my insite.
Also what type of music do you want to produce and make beats for.
What is your budget? Are you for sure going to buy a system like Logic, or are you goin to opt for a system like Pro-Tools?
Are you going to be working with Midi instruments often?

You could get the Delta 10/10 soundcard by M-Audio and Pro-Tools M-Powered for $800 USD and then a decent 12 channel console mixer and still have money left over for a mic or two.

lets start with the software its the easy answer. You dont need every piece of software period.
Protools is known as the industry standard and that is because they been around forever they started as Sound Designer and eventually changed to Protools that we know today.
As a Midi program its horrible compared to the other options out there. As a multitrack editor its good and fairly easy to use.
Logic is what I use 98% of the time in my studio the other 2% is Protools due to the fact that most artist use it and when they send me a track to remix its in a Protools session but once I export what I need I import my track to Logic.
Logic has a big misconception of being very hard to use. Well it was back in the day when E-Magic owned it. Apple has done a great job of making the interface easier to use with alot of function behind it. The best part about Logic is the instruments it comes with.
Most programs like Protools you are basically getting a multitrack editor/Midi Sequencer with some plug-ins for dynamic control, eq, reverb, etc. With Logic you get all that but a more vast collection of those types of plug-ins, but in addition you get a massive amount of Virtual Instruments basically computer generated programs the emulate different instruments and sounds. There are so many different VI's its a program that I wouldnt give up for anything. Once you master Logic you can see why its becoming more and more popular with song writers/producers.
Reason is a good basic tool to create loops, beats etc. I wouldnt use it for a track I plan on sending to an artist.
What you need to do is decide is how you want to spend you money..
You can buy Protools M-Powered for I think 300 bucks then you will need a M-Audio M-Powered soundcard lets say its $400. But you still dont really have any sounds, samples, etc. Most people go buy a Sound Module like the Yamaha Motif Es 1200 bucks or the Roland V Synth 2200 bucks well you are almost at your whole budjet there.
Logic is 1000 gives you more then enough to get started all you need is a sound card. I would recommend a Motu 828 mk2 or a Motu 896HD. They are both excellent choices I think the 896 will serve you better for band recordings. The Nice part is they have built in mixers so you can do some tweeking on the soundcard itself. The 896 is around 850 and the 828 you can find for around 650.
With this combo your at around 1600-1800. Your gonna need a Midi controller aka keyboard. Depending what your gonna do most people use a 61 key some use a 25 and some use a 88 I have all of them I use the 25 key the most for practical purposes but do use the 88 often too. You can pick a keyboard with no sound modules built in for 150-500 depending on what you get. Your basically round 1800-2300 this leaves you plenty of room to buy some mic's, direct boxes, patch bay, etc.
If you havent recorded a band yet a drummer depending on the setup can require quite a number of mic's so be preparded and dont make the mistake of not seting up top and bottom mic configurations on snares and open bottom drums. You get a better cleaner sound but also remember to invert the phase so you can hear the sound.
Hope this helps

I would go with the first option and drop the mackie universal control, you dont need it. and i will still look at a motu vs maudio for sound cards but that is me. the only nice thing with the maudio is you can get protools cheap. so if your gonna need to use protools get the maudio
