Has Anybody Else noticed that Inmusic has discontinued every rane dj product apart from the seventy-two ,Twelve & SL4 leaving buyers with no alternative to a new rane mixer now everyone must buy the expensive seventy two ,Also there is no 4 chanel rane mixer available as of now

Yea, looks like just the sl4 and mp2015 are still supported, although they were supporting service for the 62 for the last bit and still stick replacement parts.
Even made a new fader carrier for the 60 line of faders which is supposed to address the breaking problem.

You do realize that the 68 came out in 2010 & 64 in 2013. They have reached their shelf life and needed to be retired. Who was buying either one of those new? Let's mention looking back they were not the best products anyway.
And FYI they both cost more than the 72 and do less.

Rane has always been on the premium end of the spectrum.
The 62 was alike $2200 when it first dropped.
Hell, the 56 was like $1000 for a basic 2 channel mixer.
The 72 is actually one of the cheaper Rane mixers at launch.

The 72 is not that much compared to any other Rane 2 sound card mixer that ever came out. So I'm not too sure what you mean.
like DJ Soo said.
Think of the Launch prices of the 62, 64, and 68. Hell, even the 57SL and MKII. If you want a cheap serato mixer there are a nice number of alternatives.

Numark Scratch is $500, you can find Mixars Duos for under $750, and the S3 is like $500.
Reloop Elite is like $1300.
All cheaper than the $1800 for a 72 or the $1700 for an S9.
Lots of choices these days for 2 channel serato mixers although it would be nice to have some more options in the $1000ish range.

yea, for 4 channel, there's the reloop rmx 90-DVS and the Mixars Quattro - both for around $1000.
Rane has always been top dollar, and now that they are owned by InMusic, they're likely not going to put out a 4 channel version since it would just be competing with their Denon line.
Besides, it's not like the 4 channel Ranes ever did all that well either outside of their rotaries- they always did best with their 2 channel mixers over the last couple decades.
