Why is it that Serato shows I have corrupted files every time I upload them?
These are files that play fine on any other player, and in fact, play just fine in Serato as well. But every single one of them, when I mouse over them says "Invalid audio data". Quite frankly, I'm tired of having to fix them, and it's getting to a point where I'm about to go back to using virtual DJ since Serato says that so much as one corrupted file can affect stability, and I've used Virtual DJ for many years, with no problems with any of these files. I have better things to do that re-convert these "so called" corrupted files every time I add them!

I think in 2.1 there was a bug that incorrectly flagged files as corrupt when they were fine.

the new version of serato thats currently beta tested is suppose to address this, also if you have weird font characters this will cause file corruption, I have a lot of corrupt files and they play fine.

Recalling that for the Seratodj development team the BETA versions are ALPHA versions ... the FINAL versions are really BETA versions.

Check to see if you have APE2 tags. If so, update them to ID3 2.3
