XLR SPLITTER FOR MORE SPEAKERS?

Hey ya'll! Im a relatively new DJ and need some help with speaker set up. I have 4 speakers positioned around a room with 1 sub that I need to connect to my controller. Should I use an XLR splitter to go from my controller to the splitter and then out to all 4 speakers and sub? I don't want to lose sound quality or have any issues. Let me know what you all think or if you have any other suggestions!

Most speakers have a loop out for doing this. Mixer > sub >1st of tops >2ed set of tops.

You can use a splitter if needed. You won't loose any noticeable sound quality unless you're splitting it 17 different ways. 577er is right though... I'd use the pass-through on your sub or tops first.
