Apple MAC Vs Lenovo PC

These holidays I've fun with my new gears (2 PLX 1000 + S9), but..I've some issues on DVS: tracking loaded but sound ugly, applying Serato fx disconnect mac from mixer,...

so..i'm thinkin' to change my mac, is a mid-2010 macbook, core 2 duo, 4gb ram

I've checked a bunch of chances and at last i'm unsure about 2 options:

1) mabook air, i5, 8gb ram, 128gb ssd

2) lenovo thinkpad l380, i7, 16gb ram, 512gb ssd

same price, nearly 1100€

I ask because specs drive on lenovo for sure, but i've read that Serato doesn't support Windows fine as Mac

Thanks to all of you..

2) lenovo thinkpad x280, i5, 16gb, 512gb ssd (12,5" smaller & lighter than thinkpad l380)

Either one should work fine. Just get the one you feel most comfortable using. I had some issues with Serato Pro and Win 10 when it first came out, but with Serato's updates, it works with no problems at all.

I'd honestly go second hand and get a 2015 13" Macbook Pro i7 16gb 512/1TB off of eBay, same price but much better machine and last model before those dreadful Touchbar models that came about the next year..

at last yesterday i’ve got a 2017 macbook pro, good deal..only 128gb ssd but i don’t pay 300€ to get the 256gb version..i get a hub and usb-c key for about 1/3 of that price..

@al83
you’re right, that’s could be great deal too but i never buy used

last night i’ve set new mac with music and, to be honest, 128gb are more than enough..i keep only tracks that are (IMHO) worth to.,

If this is your DJ only laptop then you can just add an external and be good.

If this is your DJ and every day laptop you are going to find that the drive fills up fast with OS fluff not to mention documents, photos, videos etc.

@Crackpipe
I've kept my old MBpro 2010, 500gb 5400RPM, 4gb RAM as backup and repository for documents, photos and whatever..
I keep new one clean, just for djing..my actual library is only 8gb, then 128gb is more than enough (it means 100gb really free), I hate large library, I browse 100's of tracks in Beatport, Traxsource, iTunes but I buy and keep only good, good (GOOD) tracks (that are very few)..
